Caro Hill, Psychotherapist

My background

I did my Foundation level training in psychotherapy and counselling at Regents College and then continued to study in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy at Roehampton where I received my Masters. I have additional trainings in working with addiction and Somatic Trauma Therapy.  I also have trained in EMDR and EFT therapies and use these techniques when working with trauma.  I am a fully accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I have worked as a primary counsellor, family therapist and group facilitator in a private residential treatment clinic, as a counsellor in a GP surgery, as a staff counsellor in large organisations and as an aftercare counsellor on various drug and alcohol programs. I have run groups for the Divorce Support Group in London and Oxfordshire.  I currently practice privately, seeing individual clients and couples in South Kensington and South Oxfordshire.

I understand the stresses of working to deadlines, managing other people's expectations and holding responsibility at a high level.  I have a background in business,  running small companies,  which offers me direct experience of working under stress with time and financial pressures.
